Visiting friends in the South End this weekend who recommended Greystone Cafe for a hearty and healthy lunch! We tried the turkey sandwich, BLT, and spring harvest bowl. We absolutely loved everything!! We loved the lemon and sundried tomato combination of the spring harvest bowl. We also really loved the mustard on the turkey sandwich!! Also not pictured were the date balls - I tried both the lemon pistachio and coconut cashew! They were the perfect sweet treat to top off a delicious lunch. I would suggest adding a chocolate chip variation of the coconut cashew for us chocolate lovers!!

Greystone is a clean and classy place to catch up with a friend accompanied by fresh pastries and brews. I recommend sitting outside and looking at the cute dogs of the neighborhood while sipping on an iced chai with their homemade syrup- the Morning Bun is a must try but they are also very Gluten free friendly !

This spot is so cute!! The vibes are bustling and, even though it's busy inside, their quick and helpful service paired with their pickup window option allows for an all around pleasant experience. The matcha itself is absolutely delicious: creamy, high quality, subtly sweet, and large for the price! This is one of my new favorite matchas in the city for sure. This cute cafe also offers several unique pastry options to satisfy your craving for a comforting sweet treat. Overall, I love this cafe and will definitely be back to try more of their food. You can tell from the flavors and the atmosphere that this spot was built from a place of love and warmth! Coming here is a like a breath of fresh air!

What a wonderful little cafe tucked away in a nice neighborhood. Everyone was nice and friendly. Then the food. It is really gorgeous. And it tastes great as well, I have only tried the cheddar bomb and it is simply tasty and surprisingly so. It's the tang and slight bite that catches you by surprise, Based on this small sample I'd give it a perfect score across all categories. Go there. A small treasure.

Awesome breakfast sandwich! They serve it on sourdough and toast it on butter, so it's super crunchy and cheese. Almost a grilled cheese with an egg on it. Great ingredients though and now I want to try their pastries

The most charming bakery and café located on the border of South End and Back Bay. I would have preferred to have a leisurely, sit down brunch here but it didn't quite work out. That said, the baked goods we got for takeaway were hit or miss..

Been here twice now and it's been a nice experience both times. Cortado was a little milky the first time but still good. Definitely better my second visit, probably just variability between baristas. Drip coffee is decent but pricey for it not being anything special. Tried the chocolate croissant the first time, which is currently my favorite croissant in Boston. Flaky on the outside, light and airy on the inside, nicely butter dough, good amount of semisweet chocolate (not too little and not milk chocolate). The earl grey ginger scone was also excellent. Nice crust on the outside, moist but not too dense on the inside. The earl grey comes through nicely and it also has some pieces of candied ginger, which I really liked. Haven't had anything like it and would definitely get it again. Service has been friendly and prompt. The inside is nice and I appreciate that most of the cafe is laptop-free, though seating is fairly limited so you have to get lucky if it's busy, or you may just need to stand at the middle table. There's also a small outdoor seating area with a couple tables.

Lovely cafe! There is a window outside for ordering as well as a spot to order inside. The person working there was very helpful when I asked for a pastry recommendation, and I ended up loving the morning bun that I ordered. The cafe has a cute spot for outdoor seating that is tucked away. They also have signs about not using laptops there - it's a spot for conversation and relaxation, not work.
